Benefits

Increase the efficiency of your project team with our Add-on. Ensure consistent test packages at any time and minimize the risks that untested coding will be moved in your production system.

Group your transport requests based on the individual projects and release preview transports to test ABAP and SAP developments in advance in a consistent way.
You can define the relevant tasks and reduce the risk of inconsistent tests during the project, especially when you plan to test a specific milestone scope or if you are working on an agile basis.
Reduce the costs with our Add-on and increase the efficiency of your team.

Problem

For the user acceptance test (UAT) it is necessary to transport all changed SAP Repository objects and customizing settings from your development systemc/client into your Test-Environments (QA-System). Using SAP standard STMS you will release the transport and import it into your consolidation system(s). The repository objects are not locked anymore in the Dev-System and can be changed based on the requirements for other projects. At the end somebody else is changing your logic for another project - which is a problem because your initial coding is still in testing in the QA system and not yet released for production. The risk is that somebody else is changing untested logic and releasing the change to production before your tests have been succeesed. WIthout any Add-on you are not able to reduce the risks of such untested coding changes for production systems!

Solution

We have developed a Add-on which can be used to guarantee the correct locks and to guarantee that no untested coding will be transported into your production system. Our Add-on ensures that the objects that are in testing won't be unlocked until you finally release everything for production. Accidentally made changes or unnoticed transports can be excluded for the future.

Support

Features and Benefits

Below you find some details about the unique features of our ZSE01 Add-on.
We also offer consulting and support services for our Add-on, Setup, Customizing and help you to minimize and reduce the risks of unconsistent changes.
Our flexible architecture also allows us to implement customer specific changes and enhancements based on your requirements.
SAP, S/4, WebDynpro and ABAP-OO are our passion so that we can help you wherever you want us to support you.

No modifications in SAP Standard

Our Add-on does not change SAP coding, SAP standard or your already existing implementations. We gurantee that the existing logic and process will be untouched.

Provided in the CaRD Namespace

The ZSE01 Add-on is implemented in the CaRD Namespace so that we do not change anything in SAPs' or in your namespace. We support the setup process, you can book a training and we hand out our documentation which is part of the product.

Developments can be imported directly into the consolidation system

Individual developments and sub-projects can be imported directly into your test system. No intermediate steps are required for the import - so that you can combine export and import in one step.

No risk of double editing in the repository

Our add-on solves the problem that property locks are "free" again after a standard transport has been released. This allows you to prevent objects from being edited by different people and projects multiple times and at different times be transported half-finished or inconsistently. You and your team save time-consuming analyzes and gain time and quality.

Several consolidation systems can be reached at the same time

With our add-on, we also support system landscapes with different and distributed consolidation systems, so that you are able to distribute developments in parallel. This is made possible by integrating several consolidation systems e.g. QA-System, Test-System, Sandbox etc.

Special treatment of repairs possible

Often, SAP systems were adapted according to customer requirements and also modified in order to achieve the desired functionality. Specific type of repairs can be treated different with our Add-on. This means that your modifications are taken into account according to their importance.
